Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Injury Program
One of the most devastating injuries in sports today is the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
The anterior cruciate ligament is one of the four main ligaments of the knee and most injuries, or tears, are a result of landing or planting in cutting or pivoting sports (football, soccer, etc.), with or without contact.
Our evidenced-based and industry-leading ACL Play it Safe Program creates a foundation for athletic success that builds strength and confidence in order to prevent injury and improve performance. Our ACL Play it Safe Program can make a difference in your game and is tailored to meet the physical demands of the athlete and the weekend warrior.
Our ACL Play it Safe Program was developed as a result of research, development and on-the-field practical application. The program contains standardized equipment in our ACL Play it Safe Kit, and exercises delivered via videos on the ACL Program app to implement a pre- and post-practice routine that focuses on:
- Agility training
- Strength and conditioning
- Endurance and performance training
Movement Screens and Performance Evaluations
A movement screen analyzes fundamental movement patterns to observe mobility and stability deficits. A performance evaluation includes a biomechanical assessment and an evaluation of posture, including feet and shoe wear patterns. Additional strength and flexibility testing is also included to identify common problem areas.
The performance evaluation identifies movement limitations and dysfunction, reduces the risk of injury and can improve efficiency and performance. It also includes a detailed report and customized corrective exercise program.
Our clinicians are certified in Functional Movement Screens, Fusionetics and DorsaVi-Athletic Movement Index which utilize sports science, clinical application and cutting-edge technology to deliver efficient and effective solutions focused on decreasing injury, optimizing performance and enhancing recovery.
Train like a pro with a quick, simple and targeted exercise program that’s personalized for you!
Performing Arts Rehabilitation
Like many athletes, performing artists often challenge and sometimes push their bodies to levels that put them at greater risk for injury. But unlike the average athlete, performing artists are unable to wear bulky braces or too much tape – their body needs to reach extreme range of motion, as well as maintain strength of muscles and endurance. Our performing arts program was developed to support the physical demands of the performing artist and crew members by:
